How it works

This course is for caregivers and CNAs who finished their basic training and want to feel ready for real home care work. We cover the situations you face in a client's home every day, from safe transfers to a sudden fall, so you can work with more confidence and give better care.
14 chapters cover the real work of home care: client rights, safety, emergencies, infection control, safe transfers, personal care, nutrition, vital signs, and common health conditions like diabetes, heart failure, and stroke. Each chapter uses plain words and clear steps you can use on your next shift.
Study online at your own pace, on your phone or computer, and start any time. Each chapter ends with a short quiz. After all 14 chapters, you take a 40-question final exam; you need 80% to pass, and you get 2 tries. When you pass, you get a Stone Academy certificate with your name on it that you can download and print.
